The PV Art and Food Truck Festival is coming up on Saturday, June 2, from 12 to 4 p.m. at Perkiomen Valley High School! Save the date for this fun family event, which features the work of local artists, as well as food trucks from around the area, and games and activities for children.

This year marks the third for this event, which benefits the Perkiomen Valley School District Art Department. Proceeds from last year’s festival helped pay for guest speakers such as Abandoned America author/photographer Matthew Christopher and author/illustrator Kevin McClosky, who spoke at building assemblies at Schwenksville and South Elementary in May of 2017. Festival proceeds have also supported RAKU Clay workshops for middle and high school students, new paper cutters for both middle schools, and six new art show displays for the high school. Future plans will be to use festival funds to provide students with the additional materials, equipment, artist workshops, speaking engagements and field trips to enrich their educational experience.
