PV Cares Holiday Drive, Nov. 20-Dec. 11

Perkiomen Valley School District is proud to support families in need this holiday season through the second annual PV Cares Holiday Drive, which will be held Nov. 20 through Dec. 11 at each elementary school.

All items are being collected to support the Daily Bread Food Pantry in Collegeville, which serves many PV families during the holiday season. Donations are designated by grade level:

Kindergarten: Clothing and hygiene items (diaper rash ointment, shampoo, lotion) for babies 6 months and under (diapers are only needed in larger sizes, ages 4 and up)

Grade 1: Hats/gloves/mittens for boys and girls

Grade 2: Toys for girls (Polly Pockets, Legos, Hello Kitty, My Little Pony items suggested)

Grade 3: Toys for boys (Legos, wooden train sets, Star Wars, Paw Patrol, Minecraft, Nerf and Vtek items suggested)

Grade 4: Holiday meal fixings (Cranberry sauce, canned vegetables, instant mashed potatoes, boxed/bagged stuffing mix, gravy)

Grade 5: Gifts for teens (movie tickets to Regal Cinema, make-up/bath kits, nail polish kits, hoodies, lounge pants and cologne for boys are suggested)

Donations can be dropped off at school or they can be sent in with students. We thank you in advance for your generosity this holiday season.
